Welcome to the UrbanBiogas project website.

Our objective is to promote the use of organic urban waste for biogas production in 5 European cities in order to inject biomethane into the natural gas grid and to use it in transport.

UrbanBiogas is supported by the Intelligent Energy for Europe Programme of the European Commission.

The UrbanBiogas consortium includes 11 partners, the project is coordinated by WIP Renewable Energies, Germany.
